Devilskins Story

“How might the Devil‘s skin look like”, thought the two brothers, Peter and Stefan, one day in early summer 2012. At that time, Stefan, the younger of the two, was looking for a new Lederhosen for himself. The most important prerequisite was the following: modesty – in order to make it more combinable with trendy street wear in the daily routine. The quest, however, turned out to be hopeless. Wherever he went, he was confronted with the standard offer – cheesy embroidery, fake horn buttons and a constant choice in colors, somewhere between black and a toneless brown.

Disappointed of the monotonous offer, he began to draw his own draft of the Lederhose of his dreams.

In the course of his drawings, Peter recognized the potential of a new, modern version of the Lederhose. From that point on the “Devilskins-Project” has started. A brand name was easily found – Devilskins – derived of their last name, Teufel-berger (Devil-mountain) and the english expression for the german term “Haut” (skin).

Devilskins revitalizes the centuries old philosophy of the Lederhosen culture to its core. It’s cheeky, unique and versatile combinable. No matter if you wear it when going out, during the day at the university or in the office, when going shopping or in your leisure time. Our Lederhosen are worn as extraordinary, hip garments on a daily basis, as it was the initial sense of Lederhosen.

In general, Lederhosen already are an internationally well-known garment – thanks to the famous “Oktoberfest”. All over the world, but concentrated in South America, USA and Asia thousands of October and Beer Festivals take place on a regular basis. Thus, millions of visitors are being attracted every year. “Our goal with Devilskins is to make the Lederhose, apart of the traditional events, internationally worn, as a fashion garment on a daily basis. We see a strong chance, that one day we can delight people from Los Angeles, Tokio up to Rio de Janeiro with our unique fashion.” – says Peter.

According to Peter, the message was clear from the beginning – “Our brand stands for the unique, the unprecedented and the individual creativeness. A Devilskins empowers you with the freedom to combine it with any style and garment as you wish. What is more, it grants you to evoke your full creativity.”

“For us Devilskins means a lot more, than just a Lederhose…” Stefan pipes up. “Our intention is to entice people reconsidering old, dusty traditions and, as a consequence, breaking out of societies predetermined rules, and just do things your own way. Be crazy, be passionate, be unique and never let someone get you off the trail when heading toward your goal! – Let your devil dominate you!”
